Plants provide the aquarium with oxygen, vital for the inhabitants of the aquarium, suppress the growth of algae, remove pollutants, provide shelter and reduce the number of pathogens. The JBL plant fertilization system provides plants with the main nutrient - carbon dioxide through water. Plants absorb it through the leaves.
Just install
The system is fully ready for use. Screw the pressure reducer onto the CO2 cylinder. Connect the pressure reducer with a hose to the diffuser in the aquarium. The CO2 enters the aquarium and is dissolved in the water using a diffuser. The CO2 supply can be switched off overnight using an intermediate solenoid valve (not included).
Reliable
The cylinder is checked and equipped with a safety valve. Thanks to the check valve, water does not enter the cylinder. The stand holds the balloon. The range of the CO₂ system depends on various factors. The carbonate hardness, the number and type of plants and the strength of the flow are important. A cylinder with 500 g of CO2, which is not turned off at night by a solenoid valve, is enough for about 4 months at the basic settings.
CO2 supply system for optimal care of fast and slow growing plants in freshwater aquariums up to 400 l (max. 120 cm)
Assemble the system, install the diffuser and adjust the CO2 supply so that a long test shows the ideal value
Professional care: precise dosing with a reducer. Uniform flow, efficient distribution thanks to an expandable diffuser. Best CO2 control: Bubble counter with magnifying glass and CO2/pH test. The pressure gauge shows the residual pressure
A checked cylinder with a safety valve. The stand holds the balloon. The hoses do not slip off due to the fastening, the check valve does not allow water to get into the cylinder
Included: ProFlora m501, including a reusable cylinder with CO2 500 g, fitting, stand, reducer, JBL Taifun diffuser 27 cm, bubble counter, special hose 3 m, non-return valve, long-term test for CO2/pH
